About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Residential Childcare Practitioner to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD).

Your role will involve working closely with children aged 5 to 17, supporting them with their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social needs. You will also have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with children, building trust and fostering a sense of security.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Supporting children with their daily needs, including education, health, and personal development.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and advocacy for each child.
  • NVQ Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a childcare setting.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
