We are looking for a highly skilled Deputy Manager to join our team at Consistent Quality Support, a leading provider of residential child care services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Registered Manager in delivering exceptional care to vulnerable children and young people.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a senior support worker or deputy manager position in a residential child care setting. Excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to manage complex behaviors are essential qualifications for this position. A valid driving license is mandatory, and possession of an NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or Children & Young People's Workforce qualification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager in leading a team of Residential Child Care Workers.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for supporting vulnerable children and young people.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive work environment that promotes the well-being of all staff members.
  • Contribute to health and safety initiatives, safer recruitment processes, HR procedures, and administrative tasks.
  • Participate in training opportunities to progress to Registered Manager.

Benefits

This exciting role offers a competitive salary of £27,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including company events, VIP activities with young people, health and wellbeing programs, hourly pay, on-call bonuses, opportunities for bonuses, and training opportunities to progress to Registered Manager.
