**Workshop and Office Coordinator**

We want a highly resourceful and enthusiastic **Workshop and Office Coordinator** to boost team productivity in London who will have the following responsibilities:

- Inventory management (goods in/goods out tracking) and maintenance of goods reorder levels
- Access management, ensuring start and end of day procedures are followed, visitors are greeted and any unauthorised people are managed.
- Supporting the office and field based teams onsite
- Procurement of engineering tools & consumables, office consumables and courier management
- Management of team events and meetings
- Payroll information management - liaising with external payroll consultants
- Business administration which includes monitoring inboxes, paying invoices, chasing late deliveries, filing using the online postal system and dealing with enquiries
- Supporting the HR manager (recruitment, onboarding and general HR administration)
- Basic maintenance and upkeep of our workshop and office.
- Working with the development team to make sure they do not get blocked - helping out on small tasks to accelerate the deployments of our products, e.g. setting up PC workstations, maintaining/repairing tools, identifying likely blocking issues/components and resolving part shortages.
- Actively enforcing good housekeeping and safe working practices (e.g. risk assessment monitoring, health & safety checks, walking inspections).
- Attend appropriate training courses as needed (e.g. working at height)
- Engaging and managing subcontractors (e.g. build, facilities) where necessary
- To provide cover for other support functions
- Carry out any other duties as requested

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in office/factory/procurement management or general administration
- A basic understanding of business accounting - understand how invoice payment works, credit terms, credit accounts and managing a business bank account.
- Comfort with technology (especially Google Docs, video calls etc)
- Experience working in fast-paced and changeable environments
- Ability to pick up software services/tools quickly and easily
- Willingness to try and have a go figuring things out before asking for assistance
- Mastery of English (verbal and written)
- Proactive mindset, anticipating needs ahead of time (where possible)
- Highly responsive, keeping all necessary people updated with progress on important matters
- Able to work in a stand-alone role, requiring minimum supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- High level of independence - this is a stand-alone role
- The right to work in the UK

- Skills and experiences in repairs and maintenance, cleaning, facilities or any other relevant field

**Desirable**:

- Educated to degree/HNC/HND level (e.g. supply chain management, management, accounting)
- Driving license
- Relevant training in e.g. health & safety, GDPR
