The position of **Workforce Planning and Resource Coordinator** is based primarily at** The ICC**, the main responsibility of this role is to provide appropriately timed and skilled staff into our many conferences and events at **The ICC**.

Duties and responsibilities will vary from time to time and the post holder will be expected to perform other such duties that are reasonably comparable. Adhere to Company health, safety and environmental policies at all times. Maintain a safe working environment and ensure your work activities are safe

**Primary use of role**:
To deliver to the NEC Catering operations the correct number of skilled and fully trained staff in line with operational requirements.

To actively support the Workforce planning and Resource manager ensuring that employees are communicated to regarding their rotas, deal with any payroll or training issues.

Develop positive relationships with all stakeholders i.e. Operational Managers, Agencies, Workforce planning and resource teams within the business.

**Key responsibilities**:

- To help plan and coordinate the staffing of all events within the business areas ensuring that the calibre of the people deployed are the best to represent The NEC Group
Be the first line contact for all variably paid employees and workers
- Reactive positively to and implement solutions regarding cancellations, shortfalls and changing business levels
- Build commercially beneficial and positive relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Work with the operational managers to ensure that the service delivered to our customers is of the highest standard
- To support Workforce planning and Resource Co-ordinators at our other venues is essential.
- Due to the nature of our businesses and the role you will be required to work evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
- Ensure accurate inputting of data for agency billing purposes
- Provide comprehensive forecasting and execution of workforce planning
- Maintain good communications across all areas of the business identifying any risks to the Senior Management team.
- Provide administration support to the conference and banqueting co-ordinator
- Typing and drafting when necessary of documents and correspondence using Word & PowerPoint
- Provide support with effective time management

**Skill, Behaviours and experience**:

- To be computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Knowledge of workforce scheduling systems would be ideal however if not we can always train
- Have an excellent telephone manner gained in an office environment
- Be an excellent verbal and written communicator
- Be able to interact at all levels
- Be able to multitask with the ability to work on numerous projects at any given time, delivering all in a timely manner to a standard with excellent attention to detail
- Proactively seek solutions to issues that may arise
- Be experienced in high volume deployment
- Have knowledge of catering operations
- Self-motivated and able to work well on own or as a team
- Flexible due to nature of our business and be able to work nights and weekends
