Patient Access Team Leader- The Booking Centre

The post holder will assist the Patient Access Manager and General Manager in the day-to-day management, performance and monitoring of Patient Access - The Booking Centre.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a high standard of booking information and general non-clinical advice directly to patients [or their advocates].

The post holder will support the Patient Access Manager in the System Admin for the below systems and any other that will be implemented as part of transformation and development planned for these departments:
Telephony system

NHS e-Referral Service, appointment reminder service, RTT validation, advice and guidance service

Outpatient appointment and Elective admissions demand & capacity management o LUNA and Care Coordination Solution (CCS)

Any other service and systems that is part of the day-to-day processing of referrals and booking appointments.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
