Administration Assistant

Office Hours: 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Ideally looking for full time (37.5hrs or 40hrs per week), but can consider part time (30hrs 9am-3.30pm, on agreement that fulltime holiday/absence cover will be provided for main receptionist).
We are looking for an administration assistant/receptionist to join our small but busy head-office located on the outskirts of Peterhead.
Key duties include: (in-house training provided on all points)
- Provide administration support to senior management and outlet staff, including word processing; spreadsheets; scanning; filing; handling confidential information; minutes of meetings
- Assist with HR documentation and tasks including: Staff Inductions, Reviews, Recording attendance & leave; H&S checks & paperwork
- Assist with digital communications eg: facebook and website posts; process digital sales
- Assist digital sales team to sort, clean, process and post items
- Provide cover for reception duties, dealing with incoming queries
Essential requirements:
- Competent with all Microsoft Office packages
- Administration qualifications or previous experience
- Courteous telephone manner and ability to amicably resolve issues
- Excellent communication and team work skills
- Able to prioritise a changing to-do list to meet deadlines under pressure
- Willingness to adapt and learn new skills
Personality profile:
- Extremely organised and self-motivated
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work on own initiative but accept instruction/guidance
- Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team
**Salary**: Up to £23,795.20 per year
