Exams, Census and Data Officer

The Gatwick School is looking for an ambitious, organised and driven Exams, Census and Data Officer to join our rapidly improving all through school.
**Working hours**:
- 37hrs per week
- Permanent
- Term time (39 weeks) plus 1 week during the holidays
- Grade 9 FTE £34,634.00
**The role**:
- To be responsible for the effective management, administration and organisation of an inclusive examination and assessment process at The Gatwick School. This applies to internal and external exams, and ongoing periodical assessments across all year groups and phases.
- At all times ensuring the efficient and financially prudent operation of the function of the academy and its purpose of enabling the Chances, Choices and Culture for all students.
- Have enabling responsibility within the Administration team for ensuring the academy is compliant in its census reporting for both student and staff returns, liaising with relevant external bodies and internal colleagues.

- Experience of working in an educational setting
- Experience of managing or supporting examinations
- Strong organisational skills and effective time management
- Ability to work to challenging deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Are able to use initiative, be decisive and can communicate professionally with confidence
- Are highly computer literate, with strong capability in MS Office and management information systems

**Our School**
The Gatwick School is an all-through school to Year 11, located just a few minutes south of London Gatwick Airport.
Founded in 2014, our school is part of the Aurora Academies Trust, and has approximately 400 students in primary and 600 in the secondary phase.
Under new leadership since September, the school has ambitious plans for creating the best possible experience for our students, equipping them with all the skills they need for success, both now and in the future. We want all students and staff to be proud members of our TGS family.
