Banwell Parish Council is a progressive, ambitious council wanting to more fully engage with our community to develop environmentally and financially sustainable local services and a resilient, inclusive community. We are looking for a resourceful and innovative individual, who is able to support the current officers with the great work that is going on locally, to join us in the newly created post of
**Administration Officer**.
The Administration Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Clerk, Councillors, and the Parish Council team on a variety of duties. These duties include clerking the Youth & Community Centre Committee. They will also provide day to day assistance to the Parish Clerk in producing information required for making decisions and working with other organisations to ensure that the needs of the Parish are being effectively met. Given this is a new role there may be a possibility for role expansion.
This new role will help us.
- Administer Youth & Community Centre Committee
- Run the facilities, services and events provided by the Council.
- Run Parish Council projects and initiatives.
- Identify new Parish Council projects & initiatives.
- Raise the profile of Banwell as a place including our vibrant local voluntary sector.
Interviews will be held the week beginning 25th March at Banwell Youth & Community Centre.
