Community Levelling Up Programme Facilitator

Redruth, United Kingdom Cornwall Council Full time

Community Levelling Up Programme Facilitator - 2 positions available.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) will support the UK Government’s wider commitment to level up all parts of the UK. Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly will use the SPF investment to deliver “Good Growth” that will move us towards a net zero economy where jobs pay at least the Real Living Wage and where nature recovery and strong communities mean everyone can start well, live well and age well.

The Community Levelling Up Programme (CLUP) forms part of the Good Growth Programme which is the delivery framework for SPF delivery in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and will provide targeted support and investment at community level to help tackle deprivation and assist with levelling up. Through the implementation and delivery of investments and projects in Community Network Areas (or successor community governance model) in Cornwall and on the Isles of Scilly it will ensure that a ‘one size fits all’ approach to place-based regeneration is avoided by taking into account the differing size, scale and needs of communities.
- Develop a sound working relationship with the members of the local community governance structures in order to help them drive the delivery of CLUP in their local community
- Promote the opportunity presented by CLUP in local communities and directly facilitate and assist potential applicants with bid writing and business case support
- Develop and maintain applicant guidance documents and FAQs
- Post funding approval - provide project delivery and grant claiming guidance and support
- Advise on the evaluation approach that each project could follow to help measure impact
- Organising and attending engagement events and mentoring
- Networking and collaboration with local businesses and other community stakeholders to promote CLUP

Two positions are available for this role. Further details can be found within the Role Profile linked below.
