Growth Hub Grant Facilitation Project Officer

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) will support the UK Government’s wider commitment to level up all parts of the UK. Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly will use the SPF investment to deliver ‘Good Growth’ that will move us towards a net zero economy where jobs pay at least the Real Living Wage and where nature recovery and strong communities mean everyone can start well, live well and age well.
The successful applicant should have a good awareness of the Growth Hub Grant Programme and the wider Good Growth Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) Investment Plan This will include but is not limited to providing support to potential SPF applicants during open invitations to bid.
Key objectives of the role include:
- Support the Facilitation Team in its delivery of the Growth Hub Grant Programme to ensure that it is understood locally and that funding opportunities are responded to compliantly, with sufficient quality and level of ambition
- Develop the grant facilitation processes and procedures for the Growth Hub Grant Programme.
- Act as the first point of contact for enquires from potential or existing project applicants, individuals, businesses and internal colleagues.
- Assist in the design and implementation of a programme of events to ensure awareness and participation in the Growth Hub Grant Programme
