The Growth Hub work with local businesses, including self-employed people and not for profit organisations and people that want to start a business, to find the right support to help them to grow.

With a friendly team of locally based experts, they work directly with businesses to help them identify and access support, skills training and grant funding and keep in touch to help them achieve their goals.

The Growth Hub is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) as part of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme. The aim is to realise the potential of businesses in the region and to make the economy more resilient, more equal and more prosperous.

**What will your role be?**

You will be responsible for all direct interaction with businesses, from initial enquiry to account managing them through their growth journey.

Engaging with businesses who are ready for SPF investment, carrying out free business reviews and account managing them through their business support experience, including grant funding, to help them to grow and contribute to the local economy’s “Good Growth”.

**What we are looking for**
- Strong experience of working intensively and at a senior level with businesses.
- Strong experience of business support programme/project delivery and expert knowledge of diagnosing growth needs.
- Expert ability to conduct in-depth and effective diagnostics with clients and to develop and agree relevant and soundly based action plans to take the clients forward in their growth trajectory.
- Analytical skills and abilities to work with and interpret complex data. Good experience of financial and/or risk management, and a good communicator of complex issues.
- Successful track record of enhancing the reputation of an organisation that has generated tangible benefits for customers and/or service users.
- Experience of successfully working with partners and external bodies to achieve organisational aims and objectives.
- A successful track record of working in and contributing to a performance management culture, supported by effective and efficient management information systems. Strong experience of using Customer Relation Manager (CRM) systems.

**Location**

Whilst the location/work-base for this role has been specified as Redruth (TR15 3QG) our evolving ways of working means that the role requires you to also work remotely (e.g. from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.
