The Appello Group now consists of many brands, including, Appello and Careline365, all are equally pivotal in our continued growth and commitment to improving the safety and wellbeing of our communities.

Today, we operate from multiple locations across the UK, with offices in Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Norfolk, and a team of remote workers all over the UK.

**Position**:
**People Partner**

**Hours**: 35 hours per week

**Shift pattern**:Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

**Salary**:£48,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience

**Location**:Hybrid with New Milton, Hampshire Office (at least 2 days per week in office)

**Start date**: ASAP

**Training commitments**:To be in the New Milton office all week for induction for first 2-3 weeks

Support the Head of People to achieve the HR team’s strategic objectives and act as the people lead on a range of different projects and responsibilities. To act as change agent in managing organisational change where this relates to people related activities. Significant contribution towards effective front line service delivery within the people team, working directly with Senior Managers and other internal or external stakeholders across a range of operational people activity including employee relations, workforce planning, health and wellbeing, learning and development and making a significant contribution to implementation of wider people strategies.

**1. Strategy & Development**
- Provide an expert level of support to the Senior Management Team to develop, progress and implement people management solutions in order to achieve Appello’s business objectives
- Contribute to the updating and maintenance of people strategies, and play a leading role to provide support to the Head of People in continuously improving the delivery of the people services
- Provide effective and proactive support for major people projects
- Lead and manage delegated projects as directed to support the work of the people team
- Take a lead role in the innovation of people practice, policies, procedures and management toolkits/guidance, carrying out effective horizon scanning to identify future developments
- Own key KPI’s and performance improvement within your area, using people metrics to provide insight to support planning, decision-making and action.

**2. Engagement and Partnership Working**
- Ensure that a clear understanding and adoption to people policies and procedures (including all relevant legislative requirements), are embedded in the service provided to senior managers and others
- Forge close and influential working relationships with key organisational stakeholders
- Take a leading role in people working groups involved in service innovation, including the development and promotion of new people policies, procedures and management toolkits.
- To be a pro-active and influential team member, able to work autonomously and play a full part in meetings and events as appropriate and required.

**3. People Management**
- Coach, manage and support the development of the People Advisors team fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Managing the daily operational running of the People Advisors team
- To ensure excellent delivery of employee relation caseload

**Requirements**:
**Experience**
- Essential _
- Track record of building successful partnerships across multiple stakeholders as an people professional, with the ability to network, influence, lead, constructively challenge, coach, guide and support as required managers and their teams
- Seen as highly credible and sought out for your expertise on People matters
- Experience of effectively providing information, advice, and guidance across a range of people activities to non-specialists that enables effective management of employee issues.
- Experience of contributing to the performance of a successful team with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement_ _
