We are looking for an Internal Communications & Engagement Advisor to join our dedicated Internal Communications & Engagement team for six months.

**What you’ll be doing**:
In this role, you will be
- Responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating strategic internal communication and colleague engagement plans. In support of organisational priorities and objectives, drawing on creativity, insight, and best practice.
- Provides strategic communications advice to senior leaders and other colleagues, building strong relationships as a trusted adviser.
- Contributes to embedding our strategy and brand vision, and connecting colleagues with our global work, with an agreed focus on specific initiatives and allocated projects.
- As well as working independently on own projects and agenda, works supportively with others in the team to co-ordinate and deliver key events and initiatives.
- Builds understanding of and empathy with our colleagues and, as relevant, our volunteers, in order to provide appropriate and trustworthy communications and engagement that will help rebuild morale and trust within the organisation.

**You'll have**:

- High levels of creativity and an ability to innovate.
- Experience working with and analysing complex data from a range of data sources.
- Experience of driving and implementing internal communications that enables organisational priorities and plans, including in transformational change and embedding culture and values.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a straightforward, approachable way.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and enabling skills, and confidence in negotiating with staff at all levels.
- Excellent project-management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, working both independently as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to learn and use multimedia channels and technologies (Workplace, video etc.) and the ability to spot potential opportunities across a variety of channels and target audiences.
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of HR and colleague experience initiatives (strategic and practical) centred in people-centred analysis, design and implementation.
