About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal communications strategy that supports our business objectives and enhances employee engagement. This will involve creating and disseminating regular communications to our colleagues, including a weekly newsletter, as well as providing guidance and support to our senior stakeholders on internal communications best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives and enhances employee engagement.
- Create and disseminate regular communications to our colleagues, including a weekly newsletter.
- Provide guidance and support to our senior stakeholders on internal communications best practices.
- Advise and guide our sponsors and senior stakeholders to engage our Business Unit colleagues in initiatives and activities that support our strategic objectives.
- Support all strategic change programmes and organisational change, and to deliver the communication through thorough and engaging content.
- Support and work closely with HR to deliver our people strategy, including senior leadership development and meetings, employee value propositions, reward and DE&I.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in the development of successful, creative internal communications strategies.
- Strong written ability, with the ability to translate complex issues into compelling, interesting, straightforward language that holds people's attention.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.
- Hands-on, team player with a drive to ensure all projects and initiatives are delivered on time.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest thinking with regards to best practice in internal communications.
