Marketing Communications Specialist

Oxford University's Gardens, Libraries, and Museums (GLAM) is a world-renowned institution encompassing some of the most significant collections globally. As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the University's teaching, research, and community engagement goals. You will be responsible for promoting the work of the Division and our institutions to both internal and external audiences. Your key responsibilities will include planning and delivering all internal communications activity, from producing newsletters and coordinating briefing events to developing content for the GLAM website and commissioning new photography. You will also support external communications, producing reports and evaluating activity. A key aspect of your work will be building and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues in the Gardens, Libraries, and Museums and the wider University.
About You
We are seeking an experienced Communications and Marketing professional with a strong background in content production, internal communications, digital communications, and events management. You will have excellent writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a complex environment and with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and discretion. You will have a strong understanding of the University's goals and objectives and be able to communicate these effectively to a wide range of audiences.
