Payroll Team Leader
Location: Midlothian

**Salary**: £29,679.98 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week, hybrid roles

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading the payroll team and ensuring that all team members are meeting their targets and deadlines.- Ensuring all payroll processes are completed accurately and on time, in accordance with policy and legislation.- Responding to all operational aspects of Tax, National Insurance and Pensions legislation and year end enquiries.- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of policy and legislation related to payroll.- Supporting the HR team in delivering an effective and efficient service to the wider organisation.- Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on payroll-related matters.**Requirements**:

- Minimum qualification Certificate in HR Practice and a Payroll Technician Certificate or equivalent level qualification.- Proven experience of working on corporate human resources and/or payroll systems, demonstrating a good working knowledge of the operational processes related to running payroll and the associated policy and legislation.- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.- Experience of managing a team.- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software.- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be comfortable leading and motivating others.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join a dynamic and growing organisation.
