**Are you a dynamic and organised professional with a strong background in administration?**
**We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator to join our team.**
We are looking for a self-driven individual who can proactively own and drive robust processes in a fast-paced environment. While HR experience is preferred, it is not a prerequisite.
You will ideally be located close to Chesterfield and have a willingness to attend the office at least once per week, or more as required. There is also a possibility of visits to Stoke and Warrington on rare occasions.
Experience of previously working with ‘Access PeopleHR’ system would be an advantage.
The role will encompass all areas of the employee lifecycle and will report to the HR Officer.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Recruitment, New Starters and Leavers**
- Advertise new roles and maintain a bank of adverts / job descriptions.
- Support with interviewing when required.
- Produce contract packs and vet new starters.
- Administer probationary periods.
- Process of leavers.
**Training**
- Administer the mandatory training cycle, tracking and taking full responsibility for both the annual completion and new employee induction.
- Smooth administration of training courses and delegate placement.
**Payroll**
- Support onboarding of a newly acquired company to a new payroll process.
- Support the HR Officer with monthly payroll administration across 4 payrolls.
**Employee Engagement**
- Support with the organisation of events.
- Play a key role in the Charity committee to drive and organise events.
**Employee Relations**
- Note taking at formal meetings.
**General Administration Duties**
- Administration of the car allowance scheme
- Ordering of lunches / travel / hotels.
- Maintain master spreadsheets / data
- Create reports / hotsheets on People HR
**Essential Requirements**
- A self-starter who is motivated to own and deliver work.
- Able to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy of work.
- Team player - small team which often needs to be flexible with resource.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Professional and approachable demeaner with the highest level of discretion and requirement for confidentiality needed.
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of staff.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Confident and demonstrative experience in using Excel to maintain and manipulate data.
