**About us**

The HR Administrator is responsible for assisting with the lifecycle of all Skills People Group Employees, you will administer the employee relations and welfare of colleagues whilst adhering to the core company values.

Skills People Group are a national provider of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), Pre-Employment Training Programmes, Adult Learning, Skills Bootcamps, and Compliance Training. We specialise in both commercial and funded training and are proud to be nationally recognised as one of the UK’s largest private training providers due to the growth of our sector and funding secured.

We are currently recruiting for a highly organised HR Advisor to join our existing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Conduct recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Workday
- Assist with employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans
- Coordinate training and development initiatives for employees
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Workday
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or Taleo for recruitment purposes
- Familiarity with social media management for employer branding purposes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
