THE GIG

We are looking for a passionate Ecommerce Trading Operations Executive within our EMEA digital team to build and maintain our on-site trading operations. With a keen eye for detail and commercial awareness, you’ll be owning our online product and merchandising catalogue for UK & EU markets.

Collaborating with both global and regional teams around this business, your task will be to ensure go timely go live of products and trade operations in accordance with trading plans.

With our peak trading season just around the corner and plenty of exciting launches upcoming, we’re looking for a new team member who can get stuck in and hit the ground running.

This role is 6 months FTC with a view to move to permanent pending review towards the end of contract.

DAY TO DAY
- You will build and maintain the ecommerce product catalogue for each season (including but not limited to: filter attribution, copy and translations, cross sell and upsell setup and maintenance).
- You will manage weekly approval and launch of newness to site.
- You will oversee management of product names and descriptions, with SEO best practice always front of mind.
- You will review the range plan for upcoming monthly launches, ensuring timely product category enrichment file population and upload and updating for product launch by market, with the assistance of Trade & VM team.
- You will review product detail page imagery and maximising commercial opportunity with recommendations to shoot or style seasonal carryover, one-off or back in stock product launches.
- You will manage our category and product listing page taxonomy and attributes (including page titles, meta descriptions etc).
- You will action ad hoc uploads of attributes and updated data to products on site.
- You will be working alongside the global tech team in training on new Hybris product and merchandising catalogue functionalities and implementing.
- You will own setup and ownership of 360 operational plan and operations for peak trading periods and promotional activity, working cross functionally with the trade team’s support.
- You will own briefing of homepage assets in accordance with trade and marketing calendar, as well as ad hoc trade reactions.
- You will the base search setup matrix across EMEA, working with the trade team to maximise results for top search terms, low converting terms and 0 results.
- You will assist in actions from our trading and insights as well as customer service teams on weekly site walks.
- You will be a point of contact for Customer Services for any ad hoc product queries.
- Any other business as required from the trade and content production team.

YOUR FUNDAMENTAL QUALITIES
- At least 2 years experience working in an ecommerce team, ideally in a trading or merchandising function.
- Good knowledge of CMS (Hybris preferred but not essential).
- Keen and commercial eye for detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Good knowledge of Excel.
- Strong collaborator and ability to negotiate.
