The post holder will be the first point of contact for Access to Information team, managing telephone enquiries, dealing with enquiries, liaising with other staff and teams as appropriate, allocating requests to relevant CCG/departments.

To be responsible for maintaining all electronic and manual filing systems in use by the team and updating databases as required, ensuring all documents are accurately and appropriately retained in accordance with NHS Records Management code of practice.

Triaging all requests received against previous requests which have been responded to, to avoid duplication of effort and repeat requests for information being made to customers. Provide advice, guidance, and interpretation for Access to Information requests.

To support the provision of the Access to Information service in line with the MLCSU procedure and thereby ensure compliance with legislative and NHS time limits.

Must have experience in a customer facing role/Freedom of Information administrative role. Demonstrable experience of analysing complex data and
presenting in a user-friendly format with experience of database
management. Able to work autonomously, prioritise and plan workload to meet statutory deadlines.
