An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Care Group for a Patient Pathway Co-ordinator to work supporting the clinical teams.

We are looking for a new member to join our administration team with the personality and passion to complement the existing team’s high standards.

You should be able to work with minimum supervision and have a cheerful, tactful, sensitive approach to dealing with occasional difficult situations. You should be able to work well under pressure, be motivated with a commitment to provide excellent customer service. Working closely with your MDT team, your administration duties will include managing correspondence(including audio transcription), actions from outpatient clinics and diagnostic results, together with facilitating the flow of information between the various clinicians and support services, where appropriate, to help process the patient’s care pathway. Experience of MDT meetings and minute taking would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

This post will work primarily for the Trauma Service supporting our Fracture Clinics and wards.

You will work within a dedicated specialty clinical area to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes which revolve around the patient and their individual needs. You will provide cross-cover for other Patient Pathway Co-ordinators and Patient Communications Officer to ensure a consistent and effective administration service is maintained at all times.
