**About the role** Balfour Beatty Highways maintain, manage and operate major highway networks across the UK and support local authorities** creating communities where people want to live work and play.

**What you'll be doing**
Our **Balfour Beatty Highways **business has a terrific opportunity for a **Site Agent **for our **Mottram Moor Link Road and A57 Link Road highways improvement scheme.**
As a **Site Agent, **you will be supporting the Commercial Team managing all the costs related to the **Mottram Moor Link A57 Road highways improvement scheme.**
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
- Leads periodic risk reviews and takes output forward to the Project Risk Register
- Overall ownership of Handover Documentation for Section
- Carry out constructive analysis of fully resourced programme
- Attends and provides reports for weekly project meetings and identifies improvement areas and allocates / implements appropriate actions to team members
- Involved in the procurement of subcontractors and advises on commercial aspects / preferred attendances
**Who we're looking for**
You will have the following:
- Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card.
- SMSTS qualified
- Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours/nights as required by the programme
- Good working knowledge of current H & S legislation
- Clear understanding and experience of the requirements for handover and self-certification of
the works, including management experience of the same
- Working knowledge of the NEC and other relevant forms of contract
