Our **Balfour Beatty Highways **business has a terrific opportunity for a **Site Supervisor **for our **Mottram Moor Link Road and A57 Link Road highways improvement scheme, in Manchester.**
**What you'll be doing**
As a **Site Supervisor, **you will be supporting the Commercial Team managing all the costs related to the **Mottram Moor Link A57 Road highways improvement scheme.**
- Experienced in the delivery of high-profile projects involving earthworks, deep drainage and
reinforced concrete construction, to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and enhanced experience for all involved in the scheme
- Solution orientated individual, with ability to analyse risks and benefits of options to resolve
identified issues. Proven experience of working to tight deadlines with an ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Capable of taking ownership of the works or a section of the works from start to finish, including the handover of the works

**Who we're looking for** You will have the following**:

- Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card and SMSTS
- **Civils, Infrastructure or Highways projects experience helpful**:

- Good working knowledge of current H & S legislation
- Understands the relevant Business Management System and implements systems and processes (e.g. ordering plant, recruiting labour, disciplinary procedures)
- Understands and implements the requirements of Inspection and Test Plans
- Be within a reasonable commutable distance of the above base location
