Site Supervisor - Joinery Works - Manchester , Liverpool, Warrington - M62 Corridor
Are you a site supervisor and from a joinery background?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a joinery sub-contractor who are looking to hire site supervisors - on either a self-employed or PAYE basis - to oversee the installation of joinery packages on various sites across the M62 corridor .
The role is strictly management and the only potential requirement to work on the tools would be to help out towards the end of the project.
This well established contractor turns over circa £9.8, has a healthy balance sheet and has circa 75 staff , with 50 on site and 25 who are office based. Clients include ISG, Willmott Dixon, Galliford's and Morgan Sindall and joinery packages are valued up to circa £3m. On such project is due to start at Manchester Airport and will last 52 weeks.
Duties & Responsibilities :
* Site Health & Safety: Monitor / continuous review,implementation, record & document.
* Quality Assurance:Site review ,photo evidence, Field view signs off record & document.
* Programme: Create, review ,implement. Note changes & delays
* Labour Resource:Review, implement forecast
* Change Monitoring:Site instructions , Working methods, Availability of works.
* Material: Procurement ,Call off / delivery, Material Planning and forecasting.Collection arrangent
* Hire Plant & Equiptment: arrange deliveries & collections Maintain plant record forms ,forecast hire durations.
Certs Required: SSSTS or SMSTS and CSCS card .
Site Hours: As per the main contractors site hours
Rates: £180-£200 per day , plus van and mileage allowance
If PAYE: £40-£45 p/a, plus vehicle and fuel card.
