Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planner to join our team at Balfour Beatty. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for leading the development of integrated project schedules and supporting the coordination of dependencies and interfaces across the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage complex project schedules using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate closely with the Planning/Project Lead to optimize strategic planning elements.
- Display and evaluate the project critical path, advising the project team of the results and any appropriate corrective action.
- Manage labour, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project objectives while minimizing costs and delays.
- Identify planning scope, major constraints, and contract requirements.
- Aid the planning team to produce project data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify deviations, and make data-driven decisions for project improvement.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in project scheduling and planning.
- Experience in managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Good understanding and management of data and processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
