**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Provide primary administrative support to the clinical staff and all patients under their care, including administration of EPR including HIM Tracking, HIM Chart Coding, Powerchart and PM Office, dealing with correspondence and other administrative duties as required.
- Open and prioritise incoming post, ensuring supporting information is available when appropriate and taking responsibility for actioning urgent items in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Inpatient and Outpatient Booking Teams for the services supported by Preoperative Assessment to ensure effective pathway management and good working relationships.
- Maintain an accurate and current filing system, ensuring letters, clinical reports, diagnostic test results and other notes are filed in the correct patient notes, in either paper or electronic record systems.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous admin experience
- Previous NHS experience (desirable)
- NHS System Knowledge
- EPR and Revenue Cycle (desirable)
- This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience._
