We currently have an opportunity through our Temporary Staff Bank for individuals with strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to join the Norfolk Assistance Scheme as NAS Advisors, to the end of March 2023.

Part of Norfolk County Council, the Norfolk Assistance Scheme provides support for people across the county, and this is a great opportunity to be part of a team that has a positive impact on our communities.

The role itself will involve speaking with NAS applicants, collating information and making a decision on the intervention best suited to the applicant. It’s a fast-paced environment, with stringent timelines and deadlines, so we’re looking for people who thrive working under pressure, and who are motivated to make a difference.

We’re really open to considering people from a range of different backgrounds, but we think anyone with a support background ideally with benefit experience would be highly beneficial. You’ll need solid communication and administration skills, confidence in dealing with members of the public, and ideally strong computer skills.
