**General Tasks**:
Working within Equal Lives policies and procedures at all times.

Empowering service users and undertaking all duties guided by the independent

living philosophy and social model of disability.

Taking part in team meetings and other meetings as required.

Participating in open days, conferences and other events as required.

Providing cover for colleagues and undertaking other appropriate duties as

required.

**Desired Impacts of Role**:
We hope that by growing the Partnership as well as facilitating collaboration on

projects, we will be able to affect real change in Norfolk including:
Continue to raise the standards of advocacy across the county, ensuring better

support for clients.

Dismantle disabling barriers by advocating for change at an institutional and

systems level.

Create stronger connections between voluntary organisations and improve

practice by sharing knowledge and expertise.

Make the Norfolk Advocacy Partnership more intersectional through growing the

Partnership, with a particular focus on organisations who work with marginalised

groups.

Influence local government to co-produce better systems and services and make

changes that will make Norfolk a more inclusive and accessible place.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Part-time hours: 22.2 per week

**Salary**: From £23,906.71 per year
