We have an exciting opportunity to join the Older Adult inpatient ward at Reservoir court, part of Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust.

As a NMC registered practitioner, the Nursing Associate will work in a clinical field, with mínimal supervision from and report to a Registered Nurse (Level 1). They will deliver safe, compassionate, and dignified patient centred health care. The Nursing Associate will be expected to plan and prioritise their workload; implement evidence-based care; utilise relevant guidance, protocols, and policies; contribute to care planning and patient review. They will be responsible for completing any work-based training associated with the role.

The post holder will be predominantly providing care for service users suffering from serious and enduring mental illness. Offering nursing interventions in a variety of clinical, therapeutic and social forms with the aim of promoting health, wellbeing, self-autonomy and independence.

The post holders will be required to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of high quality mental care planning and risk management. This work will involve patients and their carers in the delivery of evidence based interventions/treatments, recovery focused work.
