We will ensure that students feel fully supported and experience a sense of belonging within Team BCHC, starting with a personalised induction to the Trust and supported with monthly Trust student forums. You will be allocated to a Community Nursing Team that can support an Apprentice Student Nursing Associate.

We will give consideration to the proximity to your home address as far as is practicably possible. This programme will provide you with the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours associated with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Standards for Nursing Associates and register with the NMC on Part 2 of the Register. The Nursing Associate qualification also provides you with a stepping stone to Part 1 Registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse, or ongoing career development through a BSc Pathway. On successful completion of the programme, you will be appointed to a Band 4 Registered Nursing Associate post within one of the Community Nursing Teams.
