About the Role:

This full-time position involves teaching and assessing students in our purpose-built facilities, including the Health, Skills and Simulation Suite. The successful candidate will provide clinical knowledge, skills, and behaviors input to ensure that adult and mental health nursing skills are taught and assessed in line with current evidence-based practice, across the nursing degree, nursing associate, and allied health programs.

We require candidates with a minimum undergraduate degree level and current registration on the NMC register, along with extensive experience in teaching and assessing students in clinical practice. A strong understanding of safeguarding principles and the PREVENT agenda is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and assessing students in clinical practice
  • Providing clinical knowledge, skills, and behaviors input to ensure best practice
  • Developing and delivering curriculum content related to mental health nursing
  • Mentoring and supporting students in their academic and professional development
  • Fostering collaborative relationships with healthcare partners and stakeholders
