Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled mental health professional to join our Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Birmingham. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.
About the RoleAs a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support to adults with severe and enduring mental health concerns. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing personalized care plans, working collaboratively with service users, families, and other healthcare professionals.
You will have significant post-registration experience in mental health, with a strong understanding of risk assessment and management. Your ability to think critically and make sound judgments will be invaluable in this role. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of community mental health services, recovery principles, and the Mental Health Act.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of approximately £42,000 - £54,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career prospects.
