Professional Development Administration Manager (Students) - Band 5

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS FT is seeking a skilled and innovative individual to join our Professional Development team as Administration Manager for Students. This exciting opportunity involves managing processes that underpin the Professional Development agenda relating to pre and post registration clinical students and apprentices.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Manage the collation of accurate information for placement mapping, student allocation, student placement activity and support mechanisms for the clinical student agenda.
  • Ensure accurate placement mapping, allocations and student placement activity information is translated into monthly reports submitted to the Professional Development Managers for Pre- and Post-Registration students (AHP & Nursing) and Apprenticeships.
  • Coordinate BCHC, Higher Education Institutions, Further Education Institutions and NHS England reporting processes under the direction of the Head of Clinical Education and Professional Development.
  • Manage the administration of functions such as seminars, conferences, workshops, clinical student forums, induction and feedback/debrief sessions including venues, speakers, room layout, programmes, handouts and so on.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of IT literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work autonomously and negotiate/influence effectively.
