We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Band 4 Nursing Associates to join our Theatre teams, where you will engage in various specialties. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional care to our patients while collaborating with our teams to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires covering a variety of shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and on-call services.

Main Responsibilities
Theatre environments are dynamic and rewarding, offering numerous challenges and opportunities for professional growth. We have both full-time and part-time positions available for Band 4 Nursing Associates, regardless of experience level. Your role will focus on providing outstanding patient care and collaborating with our teams to maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English
- NMC registered Nursing Associate
- Level 5 Foundation Degree in Health & Care related to Nursing Associate training
Experience
Essential
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary and cross-agency environment under appropriate supervision as part of a team
- Ability to provide and receive complex sensitive information
- Experience managing and prioritizing your own workload using initiative
- Competence in a range of clinical skills relevant to the role
- Experience in delegating tasks to others
- Insight into evaluating personal strengths and development needs, seeking guidance when necessary
- Understanding of the Theatre Nursing Associate's role within the nursing and interdisciplinary team and its contribution to service development
- Awareness of NMC professional standards of practice
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles and Mental Capacity
- Awareness of health and safety considerations
- Willingness to acquire new skills and expand the scope of practice
- Ability to articulate the importance of adhering to policies, procedures, guidelines, and care plans
Desirable
- Experience in Clinical Audit
- Understanding of NMC Revalidation processes

- Demonstrated numeracy and literacy skills, including drug administration calculations
