**What will you be doing?**
Assisting with the running of the vehicle maintenance department in the Coventry DC and to also cover and manage the activities during the times of absence.
- To be able to work on your own initiative with a good understanding of vehicle maintenance tasks
- Carry out minor defect repairs.
- To ensure that our UCO collection equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- To assist in ensuring that the fleet meets the required compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements whilst balancing the business needs against the cost to meet budgets and delivery schedules.
- To reduce costs of repair and challenge the management.
- To ensure costs are central.
**Skills and experience we are looking for?**
- City and Guilds qualification or equivalent
- Experience of Microsoft packages - Intermediate Level
- Awareness of all current and pending industry legislation and developments
