**Job overview**:
The SACT dataset collects information on the use of **Systemic-Anti Cancer Therapies** across all NHS England trusts. Systemic anti-cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, have been provided in the NHS for many years but no national recording of treatment has previously existed. The demand for SACT is growing due to new treatments being released, some of which are continuous and complex treatments.

The post-holder is required to accurately complete the data collection to support optimal use is a priority. The SACT dataset is a unique tool capturing this information on a national scale. The post holder will ensure that the service is delivered in line with the agreed operational policies and processes.

The post-holder will work under the directive of the Directorate Support Manager and Clinical Lead, completing daily validation, reconciliation, and internal audits to ensure continuous service provision, in addition to uploading treatment cycles.

The post holder will specifically upload treatment outcomes and monitor compliance to support the NCA requirements.

**Main duties of the job**:

- To be responsible for collating, uploading, and monitoring of all IV, Oral and Subcutaneous treatments delivered within the Northern Care Alliance.
- To manage Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment outcomes for each attendance.
- To build and maintain electronic records to support audit purposes.
- To collaborate with the Chemocare team to ensure no scripts are missing.
- To be the key contact with the North regional SACT data Liaison officer.
- Work closely with the Clinical Lead to monitor the compliance in line with internal polices to deliver national requirements.
- Provide a clear picture of patterns of systemic anti-cancer therapy use across England.
