Auction House Valuer

£25,000 + Bonus £30,000+

Fantastic opportunity to join a thriving property company in Manchester as a dedicated Auction House Valuer. You will be experienced in property valuations (minimum 2 years) and must be prepared to hit the ground running.

Auction House Valuer:

- Working as part of a team alongside the Auction Co-ordinator and Auction Negotiator and reporting directly to the Auction Manager
- Advising residential, retail, commercial and corporate clients on value and sales potential for their properties.
- Obtaining new business.
- Dealing with enquiries from potential vendors and purchasers
- Booking sales advice for auction valuations
- Preparing sales particulars, inputting data into Encore, ordering EPCs and floorplans, arranging photography, ordering sales boards/sold slips
- Scheduling viewing days and attending viewings as required
- Compiling the Auction House brochure
- Compiling sales packs including legal content
- Issuing invoices for fees and chasing outstanding accounts
- Setting up and attending Auction sales, ensuring there is sufficient staff to cover additional duties on the day, ie runners, cashiers etc
- Dealing the with the process from exchange to completion; liasing with vendors, purchasers and their solicitors'
- Handing over keys on legal completion
- All aspects of administration to include preparation of correspondence, accounts, advertisements, memorandums and sales details utilising specialist computer software and dealing with any other general administration/clerical duties which may be necessary to ensure the continued and efficient running of the department.
