The Department:
We’re a multi-discipline, Global Marketing team working across traditional brand marketing, sponsorship, ambassadors, consumer insights, PR, and internal communications.

The Internal Communications team is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of all internal comms and events across our global network of offices and brands. The role is key to ensuring our 3500+ colleagues are engaged, well-informed, and better connected to our internal campaigns, values and corporate strategy through regular, timely and effective internal communications.

Purpose of the role:
The Head Of Internal Communications & Events is responsible for ensuring effective communication across all business units in the organisation. This includes developing global internal communications, campaigns, and events strategies in collaboration with our global leadership teams, keeping employees across the business informed, engaged, and aligned with the organisation's mission and values.

You will be responsible for leading a global team of communications managers across multiple regions to bring your global strategies to life. You will oversee planning and execution of all internal communications and events within each region, ensuring consistency and alignment is maintained across all communication channels.

Your leadership, influence and expertise will be instrumental in fostering a cohesive and collaborative global organisation that thrives on shared values and goals.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Developing and implementing a global communications strategy: The Head Of Internal Communications & Events is responsible for creating a comprehensive communications plan that aligns with the organisation's goals and objectives, as well as the EVP. This includes determining the key messages, target audience, tactics, and channels for effective communication on a global scale.- Internal communications: The Head Of Internal Communications & Events is responsible for ensuring effective communication within the organisation. This includes developing and implementing global internal communication strategies to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the organisation's mission and values.- Team leadership: The Head Of Internal Communications & Events leads a team of communications professionals from each of the organisations business units, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. They are responsible for ongoing career development, managing budgets, and ensuring the team's overall success.- Brand management: The Head Of Internal Communications & Events is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organisation's internal brand image and reputation globally. This involves championing brand consistency across all communication channels.- Stakeholder relations: The Head Of Internal Communications & Events builds and maintains relationships with key senior stakeholders across our global organisation. They communicate regularly with these stakeholders to ensure their needs are met, address any concerns, and foster positive, collaborative relationships.- Content creation, campaign development and events: The Head Of Internal Communications & Events oversees the creation and distribution of various communication materials across all internal channels, as well as the execution of global and local employee events. They ensure all outputs are engaging, informative, inclusive and consistent with the organisation's messaging and brand.- Monitoring, analysis and reporting: The Head Of Internal Communications & Events tracks and analyses the effectiveness of communication campaigns and initiatives across the Group. They use various metrics and feedback mechanisms to measure the impact and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.- Industry intelligence: The Head Of Internal Communications & Events stays updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies that may impact the organisation. They use this knowledge to inform communication strategies, innovate and stay ahead of the curve.
