**Head of Internal Communication**

**Summary**

In this exciting, global role you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and delivery of our internal communications along with driving our culture and engagement plans. Being the eyes, ears and voice of the company, you will help to connect employees with the right information, ensuring that we're in the best position to engage and inspire our employees.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create, own and deliver on our internal communications and employee engagement strategy
- Ensure our messaging and initiatives are impactful and aligned with our company vision, mission and values
- Work across all functions ensuring that initiatives and projects across the company are communicated to our employees
- Manage and delivery on our global DE&I strategy and roadmap
- Advise on which communications and engagement channels are likely to be the most effective and know how to make the best use of technology to support them. You'll think innovatively - but practically - about delivery, always focused on impact
- Deliver high quality content and messaging across the entire business
- Continually shape and create innovative communications and engagement plans, that will engage and inspire our people
- Measure the effectiveness of our channels in terms of impact and reach across all our internal audiences with the aim to continually increase engagement and impact
- Use people insight and business knowledge to support informed decision-making and provide communications advice and solutions to our Executive team
- Work closely with all teams to help our people get closer to our customers and our business and to help our leaders get closer to our people
- Act as an advisor, partnering with senior leadership to define and manage communications for initiatives, working with them to develop communications solutions
- Manage communications projects, events and stakeholders, eg leadership events

**What we are looking for**:

- Exceptional track record in internal communications and engagement
- Experience managing internal communications and engagement in a fast paced, agile environment
- Commercial awareness
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Experience of working across a broad range of media and channels
- Influencing, negotiating and persuading across a range of stakeholders and at a senior level
- Having a proven track record of leadership in a customer-focused organisation, of engaging teams and of working efficiently to meet or exceed objectives
- taking a collaborative and visible approach to leadership that involves valuing and supporting learning and teamwork
- Experience: 10+ years of experience writing in a corporate environment. You've managed a variety of corporate communications channels, including corporate intranets, mobile, and internal social media channels
- Strong executive communications experience: You can write and tailor content for specific audiences that demonstrates a deep understanding of messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs
- Fearless when embracing technology: You're comfortable learning new programs easily to enhance company-wide communication
- Organized and creative: With news constantly changing, you're able to adapt and change directions in an instant. You're comfortable working at a fast pace and are able to meet deadlines
