Partake in the day-to-day running of operating lists in all specialties, under both direct and indirect supervision.
- Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of anaesthesia for on-call and elective daytime surgery.
- To share with colleagues, responsibility for the Obstetric and Senior Anaesthetic Trainee on-call rota.
- To cover the Critical Care Unit to intermediate training standards.
- To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in Continuing Medical Education (CME).
- To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
- To attend Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust meetings as appropriate.
- Fulfil duties of weekly timetable including any out-of
- hours responsibilities.
