**Office Administrator/ Manager required - Construction Experience needed - Essex**
**£25,000 - £30,000 plus benefits**
I’m currently working with a mid sized construction business based in Central Essex who are now looking to recruit an Office Manager/ Administrator who will work closely with the Directors to enable them to focus on other areas such as business development and project management as they have work across the country.
The business have a very relaxed office so the ability to work self supervised will be essential. Some basic accounting knowledge will be beneficial for this role as there will be some duties assisting with payroll, VAT payments and payment of invoices. The business have ambitions to grow steadily over the coming years so there may be the possibility of expanding the team in the years to come.
Ideally they are looking for someone that has some experience working within the construction sector and would be ideal for someone who has worked as a document controller looking for more of an office based position.
Once probation is complete, they would also be open to the idea of some hybrid working at times depending on tasks being completed etc.
**Responsibilities**:
Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance.
Manage agendas, appointments, meetings and travel arrangements for senior management.
Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data.
Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Assist colleagues whenever necessary.
**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software.
Qualifications in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
