**Job description**:
**Main purpose of the role**:
This is a unique role and the postholder will be heavily involved with the procurement process for the IT function. They will be involved in the process from start to finish including overseeing budgeting requirements, raising purchase orders for overheads, maintaining cost trackers, producing spend reports and working with the accounts team to reconcile invoices.

They will also provide a professional administrative support service to the IT Director, maintaining confidentiality of private and confidential information. This will include diary management and engagement with the business, team members and external third parties to arrange meetings, conferences, workshops, travel, and Teams calls.

The IT Procurement and Team Coordinator will also play a key part in supporting the people side of the IT function. This will include raising vacancy requests on behalf of the IT management team, liaising with HR and Recruitment on people issues including attending interviews where appropriate and inducting new members of the function.

We are looking for someone who has experience within a similar role providing a very varied level of support within a fast-paced business. Experience working to support with procurement activity, particularly for an IT function, would be at an advantage.
