**BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER**
Claremont Community office is a community facility which is located in the heart of the Claremont ward in
Blackpool. The vision for the office is to be a facility that provides a one stop shop for the reporting of issues which community members are experiencing.
The Support officer will ensure that the ward of Claremont has a vibrant, well-run, managed facility for local residents.

**ROLE PROFILE**
- To accept, record and respond to customer queries on a daily basis. This could be face to face discussions and telephone calls.
- Ensuring accurate data records are kept and that where required are forwarded onto relevant agencies for action/resolution.
- Liaison with a multitude of agencies that operate in the community with the purpose of resolving issues for customers.
- To interrogate data located within electronic systems to answer customer queries; and where required populate additional files/records.
- To complete weekly health & safety checks within the community office and effectively recording the outcome of such checks.
- To be comfortable in the operation of office equipment independently.
- To create documents via Microsoft packages.
- Take minutes\updates of monthly meetings, recording accurate information. To organise and arrange meetings, agenda, minutes, attendance sheets.
- Ensure the office environment provides a welcoming space for customers and making sure that the reception area is up to date with relevant information.
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload on daily basis.
- Ability to work within Health and Safety requirement, guidelines and procedures
