**Our Organisation**:
Reliance Social Housing C.I.C are an exempt accommodation housing provider delivering an outcome focused support service for homeless supported exempt accommodation tenants.
**The Role**:
We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You are responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, including, orientation, and training of new staff members, and managing payroll. You will be responsible for administrative tasks.
The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers. You will be conversing with everyone from the highest executives to the newest employees.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- You will work closely with Line Managers supporting them with strategic HR expertise in areas such as, engagement, retention, performance, development, recruitment, compensation and benefits and employee relations
- You will create a HR Strategy and support and guide the Senior Leadership Team with the development and implementation of people initiatives
- Be responsible for ensuring all of our policies and procedures are up to date and user friendly and implement initiatives to roll these out to the company at all levels
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Develop training and development programs
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
**The Requirements for the role**:
- Significant experience gained at HRM/Senior HRBP level at least 2-3 years
- You must have CIPD Level 5 and ideally be working towards Level 7
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, etc.)
- Strong generalist HR experience in resourcing, learning & development, performance management, employee relations and internal communications
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong ethics and reliability
- HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
**HR Officer skills & qualifications**:
- Exceptional interpersonal communication
- Comprehensive understanding of employment law
- Sensitively and understanding
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Thorough attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office
**Level of Authority**:
- Accountable to the COO.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
