**The **role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled communications professional to work alongside our Executive Team, within a fast-paced scale-up based in the Northeast. Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for developing a two-way communication strategy, to support the alignment and engagement of our employees with Everflow’s mission, vision, and values.

You will be trusted and organised; able to translate key business messages and strategies, into clear communications that are engaging and inclusive. You will be an ambassador for our company culture, understand what makes Everflow, Everflow and able to articulate this across multiple communication channels.

**Your responsibilities would include**:

- Create an internal communication strategy aligned to our business strategy, culture and values.
- Working with the Executive, People & Culture and Marketing teams to create a company wide communication and events calendar, ensuring all communications and events are aligned and well timed.
- Working with the Executive to facilitate meetings, ensure actions are completed and owning the communication of the output to the wider business.
- Ensuring we have the right mechanisms in place for both upward and downward communication across all functions within the business, so employees feel that their voice is heard.
- Co-ordinating ‘company huddles’, our company wide monthly meetings, ensuring they are engaging, inclusive and cover key business priorities.
- Supporting the People & Culture team with the communication of our employee reward strategies.
- Working with People & Culture team to co-ordinate eNPS scores and follow-up with Heads of Department.
- Working with Marketing on tone of voice, ensuring internal comms matches with our external comms.
- Act as an ambassador for Everflow, promoting positive engagement and promotion of the brand and internal events.
- Assist with internal events alongside the marketing team.
- Working with Heads of Department and acting as communication partner, ensuring that they are communicating any product or team updates in the most effective and engaging way.

**Key skill requirements**:

- A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in writing, communications, English or marketing.
- Previous experience in a communications role or can demonstrate transferable skills.
- Experience of working with executive and senior leadership teams.
- Excellent grammar and writing skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and experience of meeting facilitation at a senior level.
- Capability in handling stakeholders with competing demands or difficult issues in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
- Capability in planning and delivering a content calendar using content from multiple sources.
- Discretion with sensitive information and the timing of its communication
- Have a laugh and not take yourself too seriously
