Administrative Officer
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Location: Inverness
Pay rate: £12.56ph
Duration: 12 months
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-known Public Sector organisation, for an experienced Administrative Officer to start temporary 12-month contract from April 2023. This is a full-time position offering 37hrs per week, working Monday to Friday in Inverness.
- Main Duties:_
- Act as first point of contact to authorise and record "real time" uplift of timber for Non Automated transactions through the corporate Sales Recording Package (SRP). Monitor and review automated timber despatch transactions through SRP and re-allocate uplift records as necessary-
- Update weighbridge tickets. Monitor and pursue outstanding tickets. Manage electronic weighbridge data files- Support team with the reconciliation of exception errors for self-bill invoice customers- Input pre-sale and post-sale timber sale contract information. Provide administrative support in the on-going management of timber sale contracts- Record timber security spot checks, co-ordinating relevant sanctions for non-compliance- Dealing with customer queries, liaising with contract managers to facilitate satisfactory resolutions- Issue roadside stock notifications to customers on a weekly basis. Input monthly stock and work in progress figures- Undertake regular housekeeping of customer stock records, ensuring effective administration of completed and inactive sites-
- Support the proactive update of driver records and haulier / customer links in SRP to deliver business continuity for timber buyers and hauliers- Undertake a quarterly housekeeping exercise with haulage companies, ensuring driver records are accurately maintained- Undertake a bi-monthly housekeeping of haulier to customer links- To be considered for this role, you must have the following:_
- Previous administrative work experience- Excellent customer service skills- Ability to work to set timescales- Ability to investigate and respond to gaps, errors and irregularities in information- Excellent organisation skills-
