**Job description**

Waterloo Health Centre is looking for an Administrator / Patient Services Assistant for this busy GP Practice for immediate start. This position is full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. Customer service and IT skills would be an advantage, Training will be provided. Previous call center experience would be advantageous.

**Main duties of the job**
- Process incoming telephone calls from patients, performing a basic level of triage by obtaining relevant information about their needs
- Following up requests for appointments, information from hospitals, booking transport or interpreters
- Processing of incoming prescription requests, lab reports and clinical documents in EMIS Web (Patient Database)
- Organise transport for patients to hospital appointments
- Effectively manage front desk reception (on a shared rota basis) to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the integrated reception service.
- Assisting patients with our online and digital services (Accurx, Online registrations and NHS App)
- To observe safe working practices, with respect to health and safety procedures, confidentiality and computer security

**Contract: 37 hours per week ( 2 days of working 8am to 6.30 pm ( with one hour for lunch) and 3 shorter days of 6 hours shifts which will either be 8am to 2pm or 12.30 to 6.30pm. You will also be expected to work one late Wednesday evening every 4 weeks from 12.30 to 8pm.**

Pay: £11.95-£12.50 per hour
