**Position**: Customer Care Advisor
**Location**: Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire
**Job type**: Permanent, Full time
**Shift Pattern**: 35 hours per week, FF shifts with core hours being 07:00 - 15:00, 0800-16:00, 09:00- 17:00. 10:00-18:00 and 13:00- 21:00 and on occasion may need to support OOH shifts 16:00 - 00:00 or 00:00- 07:00
**Salary**: £19500 + £60 per month flexi supplement,£1.82ph for any hours worked between 9pm and 7am + overtime
**Full induction programme followed by on the job training within our fantastic team of Customer Care Advisors and Team Leaders.**

**About the Role**:
As an ambassador for Arjo, you will be at the very heart of the business, supporting our customers, including hospitals, care homes & Private Individuals assisting with orders, booking repairs or arranging for collections.
Some customers may need help with general costs of products, where you can use the reference tools provided for account numbers and prices, including our Cover Planner to see which engineers are available per area.
It is important to be able to build a rapport with the customer as quickly as possible and have compassion whilst managing the customers’ expectations in a timely manner.
On occasion, you will need to liaise with other departments within the business to set up new customers accounts, and also help to collect customer satisfaction surveys at the end of calls (approximately 1 per day) so that Arjo can make sure that we are offering the best service possible to our customers.
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE**:
- Excellent telephone manner
- Customer focussed and problem solving orientated
- You must be able to demonstrate empathy, have excellent listening and communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent time management skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work on your own initiative with a flexible attitude
- Knowledge of SAP & Excel would be an advantage

We can offer you hybrid working following a successful probation, which includes a 2 week rota pattern, working from home either one or two days a week.
**Shift patterns**:
As our contact centre services our customers 24/7, you will be required to work 35hrs a week on a rota basis( set 2 weeks in advance) usually Monday to Friday. Overtime may be available when supporting weekend shifts.
