Working with the Integrated Care System (ICS) careers engagement and outreach programme lead ,the purpose of this role is to support the development, implementation and management of a range of careers and outreach engagement strategies to showcase career and apprenticeship opportunities/pathways in health and social care to local schools, colleges and local communities within Gloucestershire.

The role will also support ongoing retention initiatives for mid/late careers or those looking to return to a career within social care and the NHS.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the careers engagement and outreach system lead, to manage a system-wide portfolio of projects through collaboration and co-production. They will deliver on initiatives and workstreams within the ICS apprenticeship and widening participation programme team, coordinating information and knowledge exchange with partner organisations and key stakeholders.

The post holder will be responsible for collating the analysis of assigned projects and workstreams ready to present at various committees and groups within the ICS that align with current initiatives.

The post holder will help to attract a workforce with the right skills, knowledge, and competence necessary to deliver safe patient care and to enhance quality of service delivery in line with the ICB vision.
