About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Counselling Support and Outreach Coordinator to join our team in Wiltshire, Hampshire, and Dorset. As a key member of our expansion team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to bereaved individuals and families across these regions.

Job Summary:

  • Coordinate support services including counselling, complementary therapy, and play therapy for bereaved individuals
  • Recruit new counsellors and therapists within your geographical boundaries and surrounding areas
  • Deliver awareness training to secondary referral partners on bereavement awareness and the use of bereavement boxes
  • Set up and coordinate regular coffee mornings for bereaved individuals and professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service delivery: Coordinate support services, recruit new counsellors, and deliver awareness training
  2. Community engagement: Set up and coordinate coffee mornings, plan events, and promote 2wish services
  3. Reporting: Submit monthly/quarterly/annual reports to the Bereavement Services Manager
  4. General: Organise work agenda, manage time effectively, and adhere to company policies and procedures

About You:

  • You have experience in counselling, community outreach, or a related field
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team
  • You have a flexible approach to work, including occasional evening and weekend work
